Graphic Designer/Web Developer

JICF is currently accepting applications for the position of Graphic Designer/Web Developer. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include:
  • Design and layout of electronic and print materials for all programs and events (flyers, posters, banners, collaterals, logos, invitations, postcards, bulletins, newspaper ads, PowerPoint slides, etc.)
  • Carrying design and web projects from concept to completion
  • Assisting various Ministries at JICF with creative concept and collaterals
  • Maintaining and enhancing JICF websites by adding and improving design and interactive features
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers
Required Skills & Qualifications: The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:
  • Formal graphic design training
  • A minimum of 2 years design experience
  • Excellent knowledge of common industry applications (i.e., Adobe CS4 suite, especially Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript/MySQL
  • Experience working with Drupal framework
  • Responsible for managing print orders and dealing with external suppliers
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Understanding of production, pre-press, print and web-based technologies
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

Ministry Support Director

The Jakarta International Christian Fellowship is seeking to employ a spiritually mature, and highly skilled individual to fill this Ministry Support Director position effective immediately.
Required Skills:
The Ministry Support Director is responsible to coordinate support people serving and seeking to serve in various ministries within JICF by providing them with resources, as well as administrative and technical support.  Responsibilities will include oversight over staff/volunteers serving in the following support areas: Human Resources (assimilation, recruiting and training), Finance/Accounting, IT/Audio-visual, Media/Communications, and Facilities & Maintenance as these ministries support the mission and ministries of the church.
  • Mature devoted follower of Christ
  • Strong people skills and leadership ability
  • Ability to attract and develop a team of volunteers and staff (when needed)
  • Solid organizational skills having worked for at least 5 years in a similar capacity
  • Excellent communication skill in English (spoken and written)
  • Attention to detail and desire for excellence
  • Proactive attitude with a mindset seeking continuous improvement
Reporting Structure
The Ministry Support Director reports to the elders and is expected to join the elders’ meeting.  The Ministry Support Director will have a combination of paid and volunteer staff members in the areas of Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, IT/ Audio-visual, Media and Communications, and Facilities and Maintenance reporting to him/her.
