  • Faith in Action (FIA): 'Shop for Good' – Thank you
Last Sunday, FIA-Shop for Good proceeds totaled Rp 13,695,000. Thank you, JICF, for your generous support of the Ayu Sewing Project. Your purchases help indigent women in East Java provide for their families. This Malang-based charity needs more Jakarta outlets for their products and training to increase sewing skills. If you can help by selling at the annual bazaars or sharing your own skills, please contact Janet at teddyandjanet@gmail.com. Also, much appreciation to the Verity Youth team who so generously gave time and talent to serve at the Shop for Good table!

The Ministry Support Director is responsible for coordinating support for people serving and seeking to serve in various ministries within JICF by providing them with resources, as well as administrative and technical support. Responsibilities will include oversight over staff/volunteers serving in the following support areas: Human Resources (assimilation, recruiting and training), Finance/Accounting, IT/Audio-visual, Media/Communications, and Facilities & Maintenance as these ministries support the mission and ministries of the church.

If you are interested or know someone who is, please contact the elders at elders@jicf.org.

If you have prayer requests, please contact mehrunramji@hotmail.com or drop them in the prayer boxes located on the tables by the doors as you exit the auditorium.

  • Usher-Volunteers Needed
We are looking for personnel to serve as ushers. Your smile and warm greetings could be a special blessing to newcomers in JICF and to long-time attendees as well. If you would like to serve in this area, please fill out a connection card at the Welcome Table or contact Jimmy & Lindajani at the.johannes@gmail.com
  • YICF is seeking a Program Director for the FAAR Program.
Financial Assistance for Asylum Seekers and Refugees (FAAR) is a program started at JICF many years ago and become formalized in 2015. Its goal is to provide housing, medical and living expenses for refugees (currently 120), many of whom are JICF attenders, because it is illegal for refugees to have paid work in Indonesia.  The Program Director would run the logistics of the program, foster relationships with beneficiaries, manage data and support donors to stay engaged.  Ideal candidates will be male (due to occasional house visits), English and Bahasa speaking, and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.  This is a part-time or full-time volunteer position.  For long-term candidates, YICF may be able to provide a work visa.  For more information or a job description, please contact Mike Broomell at mike@jicf.org.

Welcome to JICF!

We are a non-denominational fellowship of English speaking Christians from Indonesia and throughout the world united for the purpose of glorifying God through understanding and obeying His Word, and through prayer, praise and sharing.

All are welcome!
